Game Brainstorm

Action Games
I'm interested in an action game because I feel like you have a good selection of what type of action game you want to have such as a fighting game a shooter game or a Multiplayer online battle. My previous knowledge of an action game would be Fortnite,a game played on a playstation. It seems to be a very popular game that people enjoy playing. One of them people would be my nephew who is addicted to it he loves to play it and he says it's his favourite game at the moment.I would like to learn about what tools to use and how to make the best version of an action game possible.I would like to create a game where a character  must navigate a level each level will have a different theme where the character will be collecting different objects, avoiding obstacles, and battling enemies with their weapons and other tools they collect along the way . At the end of a level, the player will have to defeat a boss enemy that is challenging. If the character gets attacked their health and lives will go low, and the player gets a game over when they run out of lives. To make this game I would start by brainstorming different things like what the design will be? or What’s the planned perspective (1st person vs. 3rd person)? the type of target audience does this game target one core audience or multiple audiences? how does this game compared to other games? Etc. I personally think an action game would be my favorite because I have played them in the past and found them very enjoyable to the point where you don't want to stop playing them.I have also researched about action games and it said that action games can help people learn not just the skills taught in the game, but learning capabilities.

Adventure games
I am Interested in Adventure games because i feel like its a game that really gets your mind going and is kind of like a puzzle for the player. My previous knowledge of an adventure game would be when I was younger I used to play a game called fireboy and watergirl which was kind of like a puzzle. It was a very addictive game and i would play it non stop when i was younger.I would like to learn about different types of puzzles i could use for this game and how to do it. I would like to create a type of adventure game where it contains a variety of puzzles such as finding messages and using items, opening locked doors or finding and exploring new locations. If you solve a puzzle it will unlock access to new areas in the game world , and reveal more of the game story this will test the player skills and ability to see if they can defeat the puzzle. The real goal in adventure games is the completion of the assigned quest you are given. To create this game i would start by brainstorming what type of design to use what type of challenges and puzzles will the character face, when unlocking doors will it bring them into a new area will that area have a different theme?what type of target audience are you aiming for etc.I think an adventure game would be a great game for people who love a challenge and are good at puzzle solving. The goal in an adventure game is to continue solving different challenges and collecting different objects until you open a new game world and the challenges get harder each time you enter a new game world the game might be a one player game too.

War games
I am interested in War games because they are generally, events based on live action.A wargame is a type of game that has a warfare set theme. My previous knowledge on a war game would be Call Duty that I use to play on my playstation 4.It is a really good game that i enjoyed playing and each time you completed a level you would move on to a different country or war zone area with different characters entering each time you moved on.You could collect different weapons such as guns as you moved on and if you got shot it would affect your health and if you don't recover you would die and have to start that level again.i would like to create a game similar to Call duty and if possible have a map that shows different battlefield terrain features such as woods, hills, fields and streams, with a grid or location to show the movement of enemies approaching them. It would also be a team game where you have a team playing with you.The war game would have to be set based on some historical era of warfare so you can know what type of environment to use for when the players are playing i also think it  gives a real feel of warfare. To create this game i would start by brainstorming what type of design to use what type of war zones and challenges a will the character face, what they will discover in new areas will that area have a different theme?what type of target audience are you aiming for etc.I think a war game would be a great game for anyone who is interested in war history of films it would give them a feel of being in an actual war and teamwork

Survival games
I am interested in a survival game because it is mostly a one player game.A Survival game has a theme where the player is stranded or separated from others, and must work alone to survive and complete a goal. Survival games focus on the survival in an open world. They are kind of like action games .At the start of al survival game, the player is usually placed alone in the game's world with few resources the players must search for food and weapons to survive. The player  will have a health bar and will damage their health from falling, starving, drowning, contact with fire, or being attacked by monsters that are in the world. My previous knowledge of a survival game would be Assassins Creed that i also played on my playstation.I enjoyed playing this game but it can be frustrating being a single player sometimes. To create this game i would start by brainstorming what type of design to use what type of areas and challenges  will the character face, what they will discover in new areas will that area have a different theme?what type of target audience are you aiming for etc.I would also like to create a game where the player can create a new object, which can be used for further crafting for survival such as new tools  that helps them to access better resources that will lead to better tools and weapons so they can fight for survival as the enter new areas and places to move forward in the game the challenge to the player is to last as long as possible.I think a survival game would be a great game for anyone who is interested in what it would be like to survive alone. It would give them a feel of what it might feel like surviving on your own without teamwork.
