Reading 3

Last week's search strategy was very helpful and gave me a better understanding of what kind of things i should be researching when it comes to my topic What is a game?. I researched loads of important things about games such as key components .Often, part of having fun for children when playing a game is deciding who is part of their audience and who is a player. Key components of games are goals, rules, challenge, and interaction. Games usually involve mental or physical stimulation, and often both. I also research what makes a game interesting and from my research i found that there are a few qualities that almost always make a game better, like good characters, interesting narrative, a well told story, good gameplay, cathartic potential, interactivity, immersiveness, and plenty of other factors, but ultimately, it comes down to who is playing the game and what they happen to like. I also found that the game concept has to be one of the most important things when it comes to making a game and that's where Development usually starts with. The concept outlines the features of the game, the goals, and the overall gameplay etc.I also searched the purpose of a game and found that the Purpose of games are to make it possible to create game strategies and apply them to other areas (such as the development of soft skills). The aim is to ensure active learning and to improve the evaluation of the person taking part, without them giving up or losing motivation. These links also helped me a lot when finding out more about what a game is.
